Collaborating with other local manufacturers, now more than ever, is crucial. Where are you going to get some insight on how other manufacturers are handling Covid-19 issues, share your need for a specific piece of equipment, find an employee with a certain expertise or get a short-term infusion of cash to meet payroll this week. On Linkedin? Definitely not!
The Manufacturing Alliance has built a private discussion forum that can be used by Manufacturing Members Only. Members in Bucks, Montgomery County and Philadelphia can now access a Password Protected discussion about sensitive issues that many of you may be challenged with. For example, Karla Trotman of Electrosoft Inc needed a highly specialized PCB Assembler to complete a project. In less than 24 hours, she was provided a solution to her business challenge. Here is what that discussion looked like:

How do I get Started?
If you already have a manufacturer’s profile, Login here or click the link in the upper right-hand corner. For those that do not yet have an account set up click the “Manufacturers Registration” link next to the Login link.
Once logged in, you can access the forum from a Header link, a Footer link or from the 4th tab on your business profile.
Get notifications sent to your inbox. You can also send direct messages to users through their profile. Which is found by searching the Manufacturers Directory.
One of our primary goals from the day we started was to get more manufacturers talking with each other and share openly. We all win when we are working together. Perhaps today is that day to start connecting with other local manufacturers.
