In response to several requests from our membership, we are holding a “manufacturers only” meeting in one week to talk about what some of your neighbors have done to address the important issue of cyber security. Unfortunately, only a handful of company leaders have signed up thus far. The strength of our Alliance is built around the open and honest exchange of information among peers. Therefore, we need your commitment to attend, to meet in person to make this face to face interaction worthwhile and possible.
We have lined up a panel of local, professional experts that will be able to address your specific cyber-related issues. We have asked them to attend as a resource only, lending their expertise and providing recommendations to address your concerns rather than promoting specific programs or processes. The agenda for the event is very simple. We will sit in a random circle alignment, share a bit about who we are, what we do, and discuss our cyber security stories, concerns and suggestions. This is just networking with a focus on a topical subject for which we all have concerns. In the past this has led to many one on one exchanges afterwards and often covers many more items than the original purpose for the meeting. Our knowledgeable panel will consist of the following cyber security experts:
- Charles Kelly – FBI cyber security division – Philadelphia office
- Charles Sgillo – cyber security consultant for Krisher-Miller
- Kevin Hyde – managing director for Layer 8 cyber security
- Walt Johnson – President of Precision System, Inc. and host of the event
The meeting will take place on June 20th at 9:30 AM:
Precision Systems Inc.
1355 Business Center Drive Suite C
Horsham, PA 19044

The Alliance is pleased to organize these events on behalf of all of our manufacturing members. As you know, the only cost of membership is your involvement. This event, along with the Talent Pipeline meeting being on June 22nd, will be our final two opportunities to gather as a group before the summer break. Hopefully you will be able to join us to make it a meaningful event for you, your organization and your peers in the Manufacturing Alliance.
